Welcome to Polzeath, where the sea meets the sky, and adventure awaits around every corner. At Koto at The Point, our cabins are your home and a base from where you can discover the best of what our beloved corner of Cornwall offers. We've handpicked a selection of our most cherished local gems and activities that encapsulate the coastal living experience.

The Point and the surrounding area offer a wonderful place to stay and enjoy outdoor activities, tennis, fitness, golf, stunning walks, and great food. The accommodation is close to the North Cornish Coast and the surf haven of Polzeath, providing something for everyone in the family. The Point is a small family-run business known for high quality and friendly service, and it serves as a perfect base to explore all that Cornwall has to offer, including amazing beaches, surf, and incredible restaurants.

Sauna by the Sea

For those seeking a refreshing dip, we recommend exploring the peaceful retreat of Baby Bay in New Polzeath. Beyond the busy Polzeath Beach, it offers a perfect post-swim unwind at Sauna by the Sea, a peaceful haven bookable by the hour.

Scenic Strolls From Polzeath to Pentire Point

Eva and Jeremy, the founders of The Point, recommend taking a scenic stroll from Polzeath to Pentire Point. One of their favourite pastimes, often accompanied by their beloved dog, Frodo. You can look back at Polzeath and The Point in the hills above along the way. Continuing around the headland, you'll come across The Rumps, a stunning twin-headed headland with turquoise seas and sky stretching into the horizon. This breathtaking view inspired the naming of some of the cabins.

The Camel Estuary Walk

We suggest the Camel Estuary walk from Padstow to Stepper Point for a dose of natural beauty. The route is known for its stunning wildflowers and wildlife, which reconnect you with nature. Plus, you'll enjoy views of the renowned Doom Bar sandbank, a signature estuary feature.

Padstow

A Golfer’s Paradise

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the sea views from The Point course and the challenge of nearby courses like St Enodoc and Trevose. Each course offers its own unique charm and exhilaration, whether it's the coastal cliffs or the manicured greens.

Ferry Ride from Padstow to Rock

A highlight of any visit is the ferry ride between Padstow and Rock. Catch the ferry to grab a meal in one of the many eateries on either side of the estuary. If you dine in one of Rock's exceptional seafront restaurants, you can admire the lights twinkling across the water in Padstow. One of our favourite spots is Four Boys, which is not only close family friends of our founders but also a must-visit spot for sunsets and seasonal dishes.

Four Boys Rock

As you consider purchasing a cabin, remember that it's not just a place to live – it's a gateway to a beautiful corner of the world and a welcoming, supportive community. We have poured our love for Polzeath and its surroundings into every aspect of this project. We look forward to showing you around the coastal paradise we call home at our next Open Day on October 19th, 2024.
